• This one was a bit shorter. I expected some hot love scenes but I expect your editor was ready for this one or it seemed different for this couple. Enjoy the way you connect to something such as the memories and the war and the older people and their memories. I grew up in a way smaller town and returned to be a cattle rancher with my retired Coast Guard husband. A real story there. I am a retired psychologist. My parents had a love like you write about so I am seeing my life through a lot of what you write. Great memories.
• Carla Neggers is one of my top two favorite authors. She mixes suspense, New England locations and Ireland, and throws in some romance with a little sex to keep it spicy! Once I start a book, I usually have trouble putting it down to get work done. It's always a welcome diversion from our daily challenges as she takes you so very well into another world. Her suspense with romance and a little sex are my favorites. I've just been re-reading her various series for about the 3 round. I never give her books away. I love good old-fashioned paperbacks. Thanks Carla for giving us such pleasurable reading.
• Carla Neggers is an excellent author. She writes very compelling romance stories and continues the characters in a series of books. This particular series is "Swift River Valley".
• Loved visiting Knights Bridge again. I love Carla's settings and families of characters. Seems like rejoining old friends to catch u.p. The story is uplifting, hopeful and enjoyable. The story line has you hoping and rethinking all the things you think you know. Can't wait for her next novel, you always feel better after one of her novels.
